NOURISHMENT WORKS

We have a special niche, we are all trained in disordered eating recovery and body reclamation work.

We passionately work from the framework of Health at Every Size® (HAES) and the intuitive eating principles.

We are a group of individual practitioners, yet we collectively work as a team and consult regularly together, providing exceptional peer support. This, in turn, gets passed along to our clients.

Together as a team and individually, we do our own personal work to challenge our fatphobia, biases, and the dominant narratives of diet culture.

As a team we work with volunteers and interns to expose, promote, and teach the non-diet approach to wellness because we are enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge.

We trust and believe in the wisdom of your body!

MINDFUL SOUL, LLC

I know what it's like to be stressed about food and body image. At the height of my disordered eating, these thoughts were all-consuming. After many years of struggling, my body couldn't do it anymore. At just the right moment, I came across an essay by Kelsey Miller, "What Happened When I Started Intuitive Eating."

Reading this changed my life in the best possible way. I started working with a therapist and began a long, challenging, and meaningful journey of learning how to trust my body.

Now, my true passion is helping people find peace with food, their bodies, and within themselves. I can help you get back to your most authentic self and feel freedom.

RE: CHIROPRACTIC + WELLNESS

Picking a chiropractor is hard. They’re all so different, you don’t know what to expect, you’re not even sure this is right for you. Maybe you’ve been judged, body-shamed, misgendered, or had your concerns brushed aside by doctors before. Maybe you think chiropractic is for fit folks who run marathons and do juice fasts, who never eat M&M’s or drink too many martinis. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I have an “all bodies are good bodies” philosophy. No matter the body you’re working with or the lifestyle you are living, you are welcome in my office, and this is a fine place to start.

They don’t all have back pain. Although they may have started seeing us for a particular issue, now they come regularly to maintain their health and alignment. Just like you know to brush your teeth and eat your vegetables, there is maintenance for every healthy habit.

Your brain, spine, and nerves control your whole body, so keeping them healthy, in good alignment, and free to communicate is how you maintain wellness and heal when sick or injured.
